Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall

Lifted from "Pink Floyd The Wall" film, this video is actually comprised of two songs: "The Happiest Days Of Our Lives" and "Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2" This video became the official video of "Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2" after the release of the film in 1982.

This single is by far Pink Floyd's greatest ever mainstream success, instantly attaining classic status, and is perhaps their most famous piece of work.

ABINTW Pt. 2 even became the protest song of a group of South African students during the apartheid regime, the song was subsequently banned in South Africa.

The song itself is a protest against the rigidity of British schools, and in particular, the boarding school system Waters would have been part of as a young boy.

The poem read out by the schoolteacher is a direct reference to "Money"

The schoolteacher in this video was portrayed by the late, great, Scottish actor Alex McAvoy who passed away in June 2005.

Pink Floyd - outro tijolo no The parede levantada do filme "Pink Floyd The Wall", este vídeo é na verdade composto de duas canções: "O mais feliz Days Of Our Lives" e "mais um tijolo na parede pt. 2", este vídeo tornou-se o vídeo oficial de "mais um tijolo na parede pt. 2", após o lançamento do filme em 1982.

 Este single é de longe do Pink Floyd maior já sucesso mainstream, instantaneamente alcançar status de clássico e é talvez sua obra mais famosa.  

ABINTW pt. 2 mesmo se tornou a canção de protesto de um grupo de estudantes sul-africano durante o regime do apartheid, a canção foi posteriormente proibida na África do Sul.   A canção é um protesto contra a rigidez das escolas britânicas e em particular, o sistema de internato águas teria sido parte de como um jovem rapaz.  

O poema lido pelo professor é uma referência direta ao "Dinheiro", a professora neste vídeo foi interpretada pelo ator falecido, grande, escocês Alex McAvoy que faleceu em junho de 2005.  Se você tem...
